Modern Drug Supports Poverello House at Papa Mike’s Café Run for Meals in Fresno
On June 6, 2026, the Modern Drug pharmacy family joined friends, family members, pharmacy staff, and fellow Fresno community supporters for the 12th Annual Papa Mike’s Café Run for Meals at Woodward Park. The event brought together runners, walkers, sponsors, and volunteers for a meaningful morning dedicated to supporting Poverello House and its mission to serve individuals in need throughout Fresno.
A Meaningful Morning at Woodward Park
From the youngest participants to the oldest, our group enjoyed a beautiful stroll around Woodward Park while taking part in both the 5K run and 2-mile run/walk experience. It was a joyful reminder that health, wellness, and community service go hand in hand. As a local Fresno pharmacy, Modern Drug is proud to support events that encourage active living while bringing people together for a greater cause.

The Papa Mike’s Café Run for Meals supports Poverello House and benefits Papa Mike’s Café, a program focused on providing more than meals by offering a welcoming, restaurant-style experience for individuals in the community. This year’s event included a 5K run, a 2-mile run/walk, and opportunities for families and community members to participate together in support of this important Fresno nonprofit.
